How to Vote

Not sure how to make your voice heard and cast your vote in the primary by June 10th?

We’ve got all the information you need.

Three ways to cast your vote:

1. Registered voters can apply for a vote-by-mail ballot by following the instructions found at VOTE.NJ.GOV or contacting their County Clerk. For more information, click here.

2. In-person early voting for the primary is open June 6, 2025 – June 8, 2025, from at least 10am to 8pm on Mondays through Saturdays, and from at least 10 am to 6 pm on Sundays. No appointment is necessary. Find your county’s location at VOTE.NJ.GOV.

3. Vote in person at your polling place, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Go to VOTE.NJ.GOV for your polling place, listed on the Polling Locations page.

What's changing with the New Jersey ballot?

On March 29, 2024, a federal judge ordered the state of New Jersey to redesign its primary voting ballots. In this election, county lines will be eliminated.
